Alon began modeling when “I was approached by a photographer who wanted to take my picture, which sparked my interest in becoming a professional model.” He has just begun his career, “presently I haven’t modeled for any brand names or companies but I do have experience in modeling through local runway shows in New York and random photo shoots.” However as he looks to his future in the industry, “my ultimate goal is to be on the cover of any male fitness magazine, but I would also like to be a model for Abercrombie and Fitch, Diesel, Prada, Hogo Boss, D & G, and any sport name brands like Nike.”
When it comes to success, “I believe in order to succeed as a male model in a fast paced industry one should cease every opportunity that is offered. I think that exposure is a good way to diversify one’s image. As a model in order to sell the product one should conscientious of the look that is wanted, educated in the use of the product and accept any criticism as a positive learning experience. Obviously staying in shape and looking good is key to the success in the business.” As for rejection, “I think that just knowing that rejection is so common is in itself a relief. Being optimistic about just being considered, making new contacts or learning how to improve are positive experiences out of something negative.” He loves being a part of this site because “the level of professionalism that On Display Men provides is a highly valued quality that is great for me since I’m an inexperienced model trying to establish a career. It’s a comfort to know that in an industry where rejection and dishonesty are so common that I have the guidance of On Display Men to look out for my best interests.”

Alon hopes to revolve his future around modeling. “The goals that I have set thus far are to be successful, well respected and to develop a strong network, all of which I hope can center around the modeling industry.” He is driven to achieve these goals by “my positive personality which motivates me to set high goals and my endurance which enables me to work hard to achieve them. Fortunately I have a strong support system that allows me to never lose focus on my desired goals.” The one person who inspires him is “my uncle, he taught me to always do the right thing, to value others and help them whenever I can, to be a lifelong learner, to smile and keep a sense of humor even when things get tough, to work hard and do my best in any situation, and love, support and protect my family and friends.”
So how does Alon stay in such great shape? “I exercise six days a week, focusing on a different body part every day. I follow a strict routine at the gym and a well-balanced diet at home. Being in excellent shape is very important to me and I don’t know what I would do without the gym.” When it comes to sports, “currently I’m not participating in any organized sports team like I have in the past. I do however like to watch basketball, baseball, football and soccer.”
First impressions of Alon are usually that “I’m always smiling, there’s nothing like a good smile to create a good first impression. I think that people would think of me as being warm and confident.” But to the people who know him best, “my friends would best describe me as being an energetic, outgoing, athletic guy, who they can count on to have a great time with.”

When he’s not modeling, “I enjoy riding my motorcycle, I get a total sense of freedom, it’s a rush. I like playing football and on a more relaxed day I like spending time with my family, by playing video games with my brothers and going out to the movies.” But when he’s with his friends, “[we] usually take advantage of the New York City nightlife. We tend to try different upscale bars, attend new openings and just try different atmospheres.” And when he wants to relax, “I’m a beach bum, so I go to the beach to relax.” When it comes to making him laugh, “I have a great sense of humor so almost anything funny makes me laugh, I also have a lot of funny friends that are always joking around.” As for his dream trip, “if I was given the opportunity to go on vacation anywhere I would choose china or Taiwan on the basis that both cultures are so intriguing to me and I would love to get to experience it!”
