Michael Blasingame

 Adam Medders Photography Michael Blasingame is just starting out in the modeling industry, but this native Texan knows what he wants and what it takes to succeed. He first felt the call to model while admiring pictures in magazines and malls. From there, it was an easy choice to make the leap into the modeling world himself.
Part of Michael’s appeal as a model is that he keeps himself active. In fact, “active” is the key word he lists in relating how his friends would describe him. “I enjoy skating and recreational sports,” he explains. “I’ll play anything with a ball, and I also like to watch college football.” Michael also includes rock climbing in his list of hobbies which definitely helps keep him toned.
Despite being a novice model, Michael is aware of the effort and determination required to succeed. “Eating right is the most important thing, along with working out. I use rejection as motivation, and if it’s something that I can’t help then I just put it behind me and move on. Self-satisfaction is what drives me to achieve my goals.”
 Adam Medders Photography Michael is passionate about his new modeling career, but he has other goals as well. “Eventually, I want to become an architectural engineer or successful business owner. I want to be successful and provide for my family.”
Michael’s spare time is filled with fun and friends. “When I’m with my friends, we’ll go to the mall, go rock climbing or just hang out together. We also skate and play Xbox Live.” When he just feels like relaxing, his activities of choice are watching television or movies or, of course, sleeping.
Michael contends that although some people may mistake him for being arrogant those individuals are simply misinterpreting his shyness. He isn’t usually inhibited when it comes to clothing choices, however. “I’m comfortable in just about anything, but I’m really a jeans and tight t-shirt kind of guy. Sometimes I’ll wear unique clothes that people normally wouldn’t wear to stick out of the crowd.”
 Adam Medders Photography A bright future is in store for this model, and he’s proud to be a part of the On Display Men team. “I’m extremely excited because of the potential doors that will open for me because of ODM, and I’d like to thank my fans for their support and dedication.”
