Malick lives in Florida, but is Jordanian and has Persian roots. He began his ascent into the modeling industry through his uncle, and his success has skyrocketed since then. “I got caught up with modeling, and I totally love it. I only do things if I’m really passionate about them. I don’t like doing things halfway; it’s all the way or no way.”
Malick’s passion has turned into true modeling success, and he could serve as inspiration for aspiring models everywhere. “I was the face of Azucars high couture men’s line. I’ve been in various magazines and editorials, and I’ve participated in several fashion weeks. I was also filmed in Burn Notice; I have shot in Miami and New York and I’ll be going to L.A. soon.
This model has a somewhat untraditional way of staying in shape. He skim boards and recently began playing tennis, but Malick claims that sports really aren’t his style. “I’m a professional dancer, and I love being on the dance floor or performing in front of large crowds. I’m not a gym rat at all but I do it to be healthy. I dance my way through cardio, lift weights and then end my work out with a crazy ab session.”

Even a success story like Malick will face the sting of rejection occasionally, but he’s very practical in dealing with it. “I deal with an open mind,” he states. “If you like what you see, then great. If not, then keep searching for what you’re looking for. In this industry you have to be somewhat of a blank canvas for the clients to do their work on you. If you’re not the right canvas, then that’s that. I learn from rejections. I push harder and shoot better the next time around.”
Malick’s life goals include modeling but they don’t end there. “I want to become a household name, not just as a model but as a role model, for all sorts of people. I want to represent my culture and what I stand for. I’m currently studying architecture and am going into my third year, and I definitely want to travel.” Malick had a wonderful message for his fans: “If you want something, go after it. Don’t let people hold you back and don’t let anything get you down.”
